Here at “The Sound” we practice giving in three ways: We give of our time, talents, and treasures. Since this is what GOD has given to us, our role in giving is to submit our time, our talent and our treasure to Him.
I am intentionally cultivating relationships with other Christians. I am growing spiritually through regular quiet time in God’s word and prayer. I am actively in small groups at Spiritually Sound. I am actively praying, caring, and sharing with people God has put into my life who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
I am using how God uniquely designed me (my talents, temperament and passion) in the following ways: To genuinely connect with others. To minister to another person in my church family. To serve in small groups at Spiritually Sound. To reach out and care for those who have not yet crossed the line of faith in Jesus Christ. To meet a need as God reveals it to me, even if it moves me outside my comfort zone.
I am intentionally using my financial resources to advance the kingdom of God. I am cheerfully and generously giving to the ministry of Spiritually Sound. I am using my money to meet the needs of other believers. I am intentionally using my finances to advance the gospel both here in Detroit and around the world. I am seeing my treasure through God’s eyes rather than my own.
